Madhumanti is a beautiful artist, epitomizing elegance, grace, and poise. Hailing from a culturally rich background in West Bengal, her journey into the world of dance commenced at the tender age of six, recognized and nurtured by her perceptive parents. Beginning her Bharatnatyam training under Sri Ramkrishna Chatterjee in Burdwan, West Bengal, she later journeyed to Chennai in 2010 to further refine her artistry.

Currently Madhumanti is under the able guidance of exemplary dancer and choreographer Acharya Smt Indira Kadambi.

She graced numerous prestigious stages both nationally and internationally, leaving an indelible mark with her solo performances and contributions to mega productions such as “MARA” and “Under the Banyan.” “The Dark Lord” “Elements” “Eeram” “The four horsemen” to name a few.

She has also crafted her own solo dance production titled “Ganga – A Myth or Reality?” The digital premiere of this production has garnered acclaim worldwide.

Currently based in the United States, Madhumanti continues to mesmerize audiences through performances for various organizations while imparting her knowledge as the founder of “DHIMAHI,” her own institution established in 2017. Alongside her dance pursuits, she delves into the realm of Carnatic music, honing her skills under the guidance of renowned vocalist Vidwan T.V. Ramprasadh. Her holistic approach to artistry extends to her role as a certified nutritionist and fitness coach, holding a Master’s degree in Fine Arts (Bharatnatyam) and certifications from NASM (USA) and Yoga Alliance. Passionate about nurturing fellow dancers, Madhumanti conducts master classes blending Bharatnatyam, Nattuvangam, theory, and yoga, while advocating for body awareness through corrective exercise. Her expertise in fitness for dancers has garnered attention, earning her recognition as a cover story feature in The Hindu, solidifying her position as a leading young fitness trainer in the dance community.
